The trial versions of Oakdale Engineering products are provided free of charge to the user for evaluation purposes only. The evaluation copies may be redistributed to others for evaluation purposes. If you want to continue to use the products beyond the 30-day trial period, you must purchase a license in order to continue using them.

DataFit Downloads

Download DataFit version 8.2 (32 bit) for Windows 95 , Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP in a single zipped file here. Once you download the file, unzip it using Winzip or equivalent compression software, then run setup.exe.

Note: DataFit version 8.2 is a FREE upgrade from version 8.0 or 8.1. If you are a licensed user of DataFit version 8.0 or 8.1, download and install the 8.2 trial version, it will be unlocked with your current license number.

If you have slow internet access, or occasionally get disconnected from your internet service provider, you may have an easier time downloading the DataFit installation as smaller individual files. In addition, each of the individual files will fit on a high-density 3-1/2" floppy disk if you need to transport them to another machine.

Instructions for downloading in pieces:

1. Create a directory on your hard disk where you will be saving all of the files.
2. Download each of the 5 files listed below, saving them to the directory you just created in step 1. If you need to transport the files to another machine, copy each file to a separate floppy disk, then transfer all 5 of the files to a single directory on the target machine.
3. Unzip each of the 5 files to the same directory using Winzip or equivalent compression software.
4. Run setup.exe from the directory containing the extracted files.

Note: If you want to receive the software on CD, you can choose the "boxed" version when you order DataFit. We will ship you the installation CD and a 300 page printed user's manual.

DataFitX Downloads

Download DataFitX version 2.0 (32 bit) for Windows 95 , Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP in a single zipped file here. If you get an error, it is typically because there are too many anonymous users logged on at the location you selected. If this happens, simply try an alternate link. Once you download the file, unzip it using Winzip or equivalent compression software, then run setup.exe.

There are sample projects available to help you get started using the demo version of DataFitX. You need to download the trial version of DataFitX in order to use the sample projects.

Note: When you order the software, we will ship you the installation CD and a 350+ page printed user's manual. The above sample projects for the retail version will be included on the CD.
